These are some of the things that I wished I had more time when I was still on my late teens and early adult years. I wished that I had learned to play the piano and the flute which are just some of the musical instruments that my Dad, Uncles and cousins knew how to play very well. I also wanted to get acquainted with art because it was a gift that I strongly lack until now. As for workshops, I had long wanted to attend them however, financial challenges got in the way. Looking back I realized that I had more excuses than determination when I was younger especially when it came to things I wanted. All of that changed when I became a Mom and when the kids came to finish schooling one by one. I felt that it was about time to I rediscover myself again, conquer my fears tap those potentials that I had long hidden, afraid that I may no longer have the chance to do the things I wanted because of old age and health concerns.
My third daughter, Kookie had always loved music, the arts and learning from workshops. She also is an avid fan of Sponge Cola ever since she had watched them live on a free concert years ago. Ask her anything about the band and she knows the answer. In fact, she was the one who told me that the band will have a free concert this Saturday, May 21st at Market Market in Bonifacio Global City. She also added that there will be art workshops sponsored by Titus Pens as what was posted on their facebook page.
Aptly titled "GLAM WITH COLORS," the event also marks the launch of TITUS PENS newest ambassadress who happens to be the celebrity model Liza Soberano . From 10PM to 6AM you get the chance to join the different workshops on basic Calligraphy, Manga Art, Doodling & Poetry by simply buying Php 50.00 worth of TITUS PENS from the selling area booth. You also get to witness the most colorful splash of colors with Filipino Comics Legend Harvey M Tolibao, Doodling Genius Lei Melendres - Doodle Artist and the most creative young, Filipino artists of 2016 plus as an added bonus you get to jam with Sponge Cola and DJ Toons to your heart's delight.
So if you want to spend your weekend developing your love for the arts and watching a mini concert at the same time, then visit Market Market together with your family and friends this Saturday. It will be a day guaranteed to make you smile and have fun at the same time.
